Wilson and Carolina, along with their son Kenny, have created more than just places to eat, they’ve built spaces where locals can experience the heart and soul of Latin America. Drawn to Brixton over 24 years ago, they were captivated by its positive energy and welcoming spirit. Their goal has always been to serve delicious, comforting food at great value, with authentic Latin American flair.

Jalisco’s menu celebrates Latin American favourites and regional classics, all prepared using family recipes passed down through generations. Wilson’s mother, Marlene, adds her touch with her slow-cooked carne mechada, a must-try dish that showcases the care in every meal.

The Loughborough Junction restaurant, in particular, comes alive every weekend with music and dancing – an essential part of Latin culture. The sounds of salsa and merengue fill the air, and it’s not uncommon for diners to join in the celebration, making Jalisco a true feast for all the senses. And for those seeking more fun, the first Wednesday of every month hosts a lively Latin party, adding even more vibrancy to the experience.
